on friday night there has been discussed (and laughed about pretty much too) a mysterious "to life", "cheers" etc equivalent in gaelic. the key word the merry-go-round of our hilarious mood went spinning around was of course SLONCHAK. this cute irish слоник was promptly adopted to our hearts, so I just wanted to know it a bit better. here it is:
>>sláinte<<
TRANSLATION:
sláinte = n health f4
sláinte = toast f4
USAGE:sláinte! = cheers!;
